Creative Challenge:
iwoca needed some different creative thinking because they were sending out direct mail as a matter of course to thousands of businesses every week, and there response was successful, they had an issue with the type of loan requests coming through, mainly cash-flow short term loan enquiries, which was all good. However they wanted to broaden their appeal to customers looking at investing in their business.
Creative Strategy:
We looked at “iwanna iwoca” as if it were somehow a physical manifestation of a want. We chose want opposed to need because nobody needs to be an astronaut or needs to be a successful business person, but everyone wants to be, everyone wants… so we decided to turn something as simple as a loan into the ticket to a dream, a want. Using the iwoca logo style with iwant, made perfect sense and gave us a strong visual platform for creating the DM piece and brochureware for each of their business sectors, from agriculture to car sales.
